EMCETS2 Scholarship

The MCIS Department offers up to 20 academic scholarships each year to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to pursue degrees in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or Mathematics. Support for the EMCETS2 Scholars Program is provided by the National Science Foundation through a Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) grant #DUE-0726486. The scholarship program was authorized by the American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement Act of 1998 to increase the number of U.S. citizens who graduate in high technology fields. In addition to financial support, students selected as EMCETS Scholars will participate in a program that includes mentoring, academic assistance, and career-related experiences.
