Course Policy
-
Mastery of the material in this course requires regular and punctual attendance
at all class activities in addition to considerable study and practice.
-
Special accommodations for this course (DSS accommodations, school events,
personal crises, etc.) should be discussed with the instructor at the beginning
of the semester.
-
Students must adhere to the university policy for academic honesty and
sexual harassment as specified in the JSU Student Handbook.
-
Since every student is entitled to full participation in class without
interruption, all students are expected to be in class and prepared to
begin on time. All pagers, wireless phones, electronic games, radios, tape
or CD players or other devices that generate sound must be turned off when
you enter the classroom. Disruption of class, whether by latecomers, noisy
devices or inconsiderate behavior, will not be tolerated. Repeated violations
will be penalized and may result in expulsion from the class.
-
In order to take a make-up exam, the student must have a legitimate reason
for missing the exam. It is the responsibility of the student to request
a make-up exam and arrange a date and time with his or her instructor.
Make-up exams will be scheduled at the end of the semester.
-
No make-up will be given for a missed pop test, and no assignment will
be accepted late.
-
Any student receiving a failing grade on any assignment or exam is urged
to talk to his or her instructor.
