| Mon. | Mar 19 |
SPRING |
| Wed. | Mar 21 |
BREAK |
| Mon. | Mar 26 | 2.4C (Do #28 also); WS#27 (Really need to do this WS because there are so few problems in the book.); 4.4 (We only got through an explantion of problems 1-40.) |
| Wed. | Mar 28 | Finish 4.4; 7.5C -- Use WS#28 with 7.5C
NOTE: WS#28 is merely the answers (odds & evens) to the problems in 7.5, given in Slope-Intercept Form. Since we did not get to spend a lot of time discussing this on Wed., I suggested that you now work the even problems in 7.5C, getting the answers into slope-intercept form and check on the WS. On Mon, we will discuss Standard Form for the equation of a line, so then you can go back and work the odd problems in 7.5C, putting your answer into Standard Form as the book does (You can then check your answer in the book.) NOTE TEST DATES BELOW |
| Mon. | Apr 2 | Finish 7.5C; 5.4 (#1-52)
NOTE TEST DATES BELOW BRING CALCULATOR on Wed.... You can ask calculator questions during test review |
| Wed. | Apr 4 | IMPORTANT NOTE: TEST DATES FOR NEXT WEEK HAVE BEEN SWAPPED!!!!
CALCULATOR TEST WILL NOW BE ON MONDAY 4/9 AND MAJOR TEST #3 WILL NOW BE ON WEDNESDAY 4/11 Today we went over homework questions and briefly mentioned a property that will be used in the last part of 5.4. Monday, we will finish 5.4; however, you will only be responsible for #1-52 on MT#3. There will be a question on the Final Exam from the end of 5.4. HIGHLIGHTED SYLLABUS FOR MT#3 HAS BEEN POSTED. |
| Mon. | Apr 9 | Last day to drop passing - with signature.
THIS IS THE NEW DATE FOR: CALCULATOR TEST NOTE: There will be time to answer some questions before the calculator test is given; but I wouldn't suggest waiting til test day to ask all your questions on calculator use. ALSO we will have time to review more for the Major Test |
| Wed. | Apr 11 | THIS IS THE NEW DATE FOR:
MAJOR TEST #3 |
| Mon. | Apr 16 | LAST CLASS DAY. FINAL REVIEW.
We covered the last part of 5.4 (Problems 53-76) in class and worked on them in class. There will be one problem like these on the Final Exam. Tests were returned and Keys were available. NOTICE: Keys to all tests will be left in an envelope on my Office door. I only have one copy of each, so I am doing this as a courtesy to the class. You may use the Keys and RETURN THEM to the envelope. I prefer that you take only one Key at a time and leave a note as to where IN THE BUILDING you are working so that other students from the class can come and find you and share (or find out how long til you will return it.) BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR CLASSMATES AND RETURN THE KEYS IN A TIMELY FASHION! FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE: I apologize that I have not been able to complete the study guide yet; however, I will get it uploaded sometime tonight. It will probably be after 8:00; but just keep checking. If you have not been able to find it by Tuesday morning, email me. FINAL EXAM WILL BE IN ROOM 355 FRIDAY 1:30 TO 3:30; BUT I WILL BE THERE 30 MINUTES EARLY AND CAN REMAIN 30 MINUTES LATE. MONDAY 11:00 PM UPDATE: FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE HAS BEEN UPLOADED. If you can't find it, please email me. |
| Fri. | Apr 20 | GO TO ROOM 355 AS FOR THE FIRST 2 TESTS. I WILL BE THERE 30 MINUTES EARLY. |
