Here are your guidelines:

1. You must spend all $1,000,000 in the next four weeks.  It will be worth one test grade.  Due: March 24, 2000

2. You may not spend more than $100,000 on any one item.

3. You may only buy one of each item.

4. You may not buy stocks, bonds, CD's, etc.

5. You must have a proof of purchase.  These may come from catalogs, magazines, Internet, etc.  Price must be shown with a description or picture.  Cut and paste proofs of your purchase in a shopping packet.

6. Organize your proofs of purchase in column form with the price of the item shown out to the side.

7. Calculate the total amount spent on each page. 

8. Calculate the total amount spent in your shopping packet.

9. You must spend exactly $1,000,000.

Your grade will be calculated according to the following guidelines:

CORRECT CALCULATIONS   10 POINTS
CORRECT PROOFS OF PURCHASE  10 POINTS
ORGANIZATION     10 POINTS
NEATNESS      10 POINTS
AMOUNT OF MONEY SPENT   60 POINTS
