Policies
Class
roll will be taken. The necessity to
attend class and lab on a regular basis will soon be apparent. If you are tardy to class it is your
responsibility to inform me. If you must
leave class early, please inform me before class begins. If you cannot keep up in lab because you have
cut class, I will not wait for you to catch up with the rest of the class. Students are responsible for all announcements and assignments made
in class.
Alternate
test schedules will be arranged only when the absence from the test is cleared
with the instructor well in advance.
In order to make up an exam with no prior notice, the absence must be
legitimate (requires doctor’s excuse, etc.) The validity of the excuse is
determined by the instructor. Other
makeup tests will be at the end of the semester. If you are in grade trouble please come to see me before it is too
late to salvage your grade. My office
location is noted above.
All
work MUST be turned in on time. I will
NOT accept late work except in an emergency situation. If you are absent from class on the day work
is due, make sure someone turns in the work for you. All work submitted for credit is expected to
be the work of the individual student. Plagiarism will result in a grade
of zero for ALL students involved.
To quote from your student hand book: "Violations of ACADEMIC HONESTY include: C. Rendering unauthorized assistance to
another student by knowingly permitting him or her to copy an
...assignment...to be submitted for academic credit.".
