A reminder from the Alabama Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM):
The contest is a community effort run by the ACTM's State Mathematics Contest Committee, which is now chaired by Professor Wu. The committee continually seeks volunteers, who can contribute to the contest in numerous ways, including (but not limited to):
- the writing and production of the written tests and ciphering problems, and
- promotion and publicity of the contest.
If you or someone you know would be interested in helping the contest, please contact Professor Wu at 205-348-1963 or ZWu@gp.as.ua.edu
Contest Archive: 1998 - 2003
Note that this is an archive from the years when the contest was run out of Jacksonville State University under the direction of Jeff Dodd. The contest web site will be moving to Tuscaloosa in due course, and when it does we will give you the link right here. Until then, you may browse the archive below for general information about the contest, almost all of which still applies. Direct all questions to the current contest director, Zhijian Wu.
